It was an overcast day. I took advantage of the wet ground to do some more weeding. The moisture in the air heightens the sweetness of Spring. My lilac tree has been languishing for 5 years before it came out of its dormant state and started blooming last year and continued doing so this year. The lilac flowers perfumed the air and I can’t help but stick my nose into them to drink in the scent. I had to run back to the house to get the camera and take a pic of the flowers while they are still fresh.
